Ok, so CNN is having another one of their "Special Interest Group" programs Black in America. Did you already know about it? Do you plan to watch it? What segment of the population do you feel it is aimed at and who do you think will actually tune in? Hit the comment button below and make yourself heard. Anonymous comments are great, too.

I think this segment with Soledad O'Brien is going to be really good. It think it is aimed at everyone. The reality is that all groups need to see the disparity between their worlds and ours. No matter how far we've come as a people, there is still a disproportionally high number of African
Americans that are not a part of the american dream. Home ownership, jobs, education, healthcare and let's not forget AIDS all play a part in this and I think this segment will demonstrate a harsh but very real reality that is plaguing our inner city communities.
By the way, did you see the precursor to this on CNN? Soledad O'Brien hosted in and there was a panel discussion which included, TD Jakes, Cheryl Lee Ralph, Hill Harper, the president of Bennet University and Cornell West to name a few. It addressed the very issues, and was very solution driven.
