A New Low
">
Is there a reason that the Democrats are not demanding that Joe Wilson be censured? This man sat in the Congressional Chambers and called the President of the United States a liar. He gave a scripted defense of his verbal assault to the White House, and called it an apology. Now that is the lie, and adding insult to injury Joe Wilson did not apologize to the President, he called Rahm Emanuel!!!
Under House rules, members are prohibited from making derogatory remarks about other members. The consequence is not being allowed to speak for a specific time period. There is no punishment named for when a president is speaking because any imbecile knows not to do it. Members understand that they must respect the President.
This is a slippery slope that must be halted immediately. We have gotten to the point where a member of Congress, during a televised joint session, verbally assaults the highest office in the country. This is politics. Are the Democrats going to demand that Wilson be reprimanded or will they simply turn the other check? If McCain or Palin were standing where President Obama stood last night and Senator Obama yelled, "You Lie" to either of them he would be worse than censured.

21st Century Black Genocide: Population Control
"
"Now the womb of the Black woman is seen as the latest battleground for oppression. In times past, the Blacks couldn't grow kids fast enough for their 'masters' to harvest. Now that [Black] power is near, the 'masters' want us to call a moratorium on having babies. When looked at in context, the whole [abortion] mess adds up to blatant genocide." - Erma Clardy Craven
This video is about the origin of Planned Parenthood (formally known first as The American Eugenics Society and then as The American Birth Control League) and their complacency in the eradication of the African American population both here in the United States and globally. It chronicles government involvement as well as funding from the rich elite that continues today. Planned Parenthood's true agenda in "Population Control" is substantially documented.
The beginning is slow and contains a lot of historical data. The middle to the end deals with the situation as it is today, right up to data from January of 2009. Your tax dollars are hard at work ensuring genocide (through Planned Parenthood) on poor African Americans access the United States. There is even a discussion of black "leaders" who knowingly take money from Planned Parenthood.
"Government family planning programs designed for poor Blacks which emphasize birth control and abortion with the intent of limiting the Black population is genocide. The deliberate killing of Black babies by abortion is genocide — perhaps the most overt form of all." — Dick Gregory

Articulate Young Brotha
This Fifth grader is amazing. Check out his interview with the President. It is so obvious that Our President is a daddy, a hands on daddy. The way he converses with Damon is refreshing. The President doesn't talk down to him or belittle him but in the short time he has he actually answers, engages, enlists, and explains. Damon Weaver has also interviewed Joe Biden, Oprah, Colin Powell, and D Wade. If you do a YouTube search of Mr. Weaver you will find some interesting stuff.

Can you say HIT????
The first report was that this was a carjacking gone array, now Vernon Forrest’s murder is being called a robbery gone bad. Whichever the case it does appear that this young, talented, caring, philanthropic, Black man was leered away from his vehicle and as he walked back someone shot him multiple times. One source is reporting that as many as four persons were involved, "On the video, you can see a man getting out of the passenger side of the car. You can see the driver and the man being chased by Vernon Forrest. You can also see a fourth man who was possibly serving as a lookout. We're not suggesting they were all involved in the murder, but they were there playing a role." The question is WHY? This was obviously not a random act.

Obama's Summer Vacation
The cost of taking a week's vacation when you are the President of the free world is undoubtedly high; but the President knows that family time is priceless. Unlike his predecessor, George W. Bush, who had a sprawling ranch in Texas, President Obama does not have own a vacation home that he can escape to with his family. "My Kennebunkport is on the South Side of Chicago," he told the Chicago Tribune last year, referring to the Bush family's compound in Maine.
The President and First Family will pay for their own one-week getaway at the end of August, and it's not cheap. The Obamas (well actually the Secret Service) have found a 28-acre, $20-million property on Martha's Vineyard Island, off the coast of Massachusetts, called Blue Heron Farm. The 10,000-square-foot retreat has everything a president wanting some downtime needs, including a swimming pool, basketball court, and golf tee. And it is even dog-friendly. Rents in the area run from $35-$50,000 a week for similar homes. While it may seem elitist in mid-recession to turn up at an exclusive resort, consider this: The Secret Service rejected some 20 other vacation spots before Blue Heron Farm got the seal of approval.
The Obamas are reported to be determined to pay their way — unlike the Clintons, who stayed at Martha’s Vineyard regularly during their years at the White House but who were always put up by other people and thus stayed rent-free. George W. Bush loved to escape to his ranch in Crawford, Texas, for a break — he spent one sixth of his presidency there. Mr. Bush took more time off from the White House than any other US president, spending 1,020 days out of the office, including 490 days at his ranch.
As the Associated Press notes, the Obamas visit is not as bad as you think—it actually adds to the rich history of the place: In the old days, black families vacationed on the island because they were unwelcome elsewhere. Now prominent African Americans who choose to spend their summers there include director Spike Lee, Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (yes, that Henry Louis Gates), and Obama's Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Yes there are Black Professors at Harvard.
Ok, so I am sure you all have seen this one in the news, I will not elaborate, but this is ridicules. By all accounts Prof. Gates showed the officer proof that it was his property or that he was leasing the property, that should have been the end of it. Surely voicing your opinion and requesting an officer's name and badge number does not constitute disorderly conduct. Another clear case of officer racism.

McGrady's Aid to Darfur Project
Tracy McGrady will switch jersey numbers next season to help raise awareness for his Darfur humanitarian project.
McGrady hopes to raise attention for the "3 Points" documentary film that will debut later this year, a movie chronicling his 2007 journey to Darfur refugee camps in Chad.
The "3 Points" refer to the goals of peace, protection and punishment in Darfur, with McGrady seeking peace and protection for those forced into camps and punishment for those involved in the Darfur violence.
McGrady also has donated 75,000 dollars toward constructing a school in a refugee camp in eastern Chad.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson
T.V. coverage of Michael Jackson's memorial service began early this morning. To the surprise, and relief, of many it was an actual memorial. Not a concert, not a pageant but a respectful home-going service. During the entrance the casket was placed in front of center stage but the cameras seemed to avoid it until Usher walked over to it. Smokey Robinson read statements from Diana Ross and Nelson Mandela. CNN actually did a good job keeping quiet and were actually respectful. The remembrances by friends were funny, touching, and moving. It was interesting that speakers spoke of the controversy that surrounded MJ. Surprisingly, the Rev. Al Sharpton was poignant on this issue. This was a moving tribute and goodbye. It reminded us all that Michael Jackson was wonderful, caring, talented and human
